Packing List is a service provided by TNX Apps UG (Haftungsbeschränkt). We take the security of your data very serious. This page is used to inform website visitors and users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Packing List unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Our promise to you

Your data used and collected within the apps will never be sold. We try to process as little as possible of your Personal Data by design to provide the service. If you don't want to use the service of Packing List any longer, we will remove all your data as fast as possible and as permanently as possible at your request.  The service will comply with current and future privacy and data protection regulations of germany and the European Union.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Name/Username/Email, your travel location, travel date, packlists / todo list, manually uploaded cover pictures, login-method (e.g. Google Login), timestamp of the last changes to your database, choosen language. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

The data we collect is used to:

  • provide the service - its functions and content
  • respond and answer contact requests and to communicate with our users
  • perform safety measures
  • range-measurement and marketing

Relevant legal bases

Due to the regulations of Art. 13 DSGVO we inform you about the the relevant legal basis for the processing. As far as the legal basis in the Privacy Policy aren't mentions exactly, the following applies:

  • the legal basis for obtaining consent is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and Art. 7 DSGVO
  • the legal basis for processing data to fulfil our services and the implementation of contractual measures is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO
  • the legal basis for processing data to fulfil legal obligations is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO
  • the legal basis for processing data for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by TNX Apps UG (limited) or third parties is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO
  • the legal basis for processing data in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d DSGVO

Rights of access, delete, edit and share by the person concerned

You have the right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning of you is being processed, and, where that is the case, get access to the personal data and the information according to Art. 15 DSGVO. You have the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you. As well you can get incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement according to Art. 16 DSGVO. You have the right that we erase your personal data according to Art. 17 DSGVO or alternatively ask us to restrict the processing of your data according to Art. 18 DSGVO. Also, you got the right to receive the personal data collected in a structured way and on your instruction have them send to a third party of your choice without hindrance according to Art. 20 DSGVO.

Right to withdraw

You have the right to grant consent in accordance with. Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO with effect for the future

Right to object

You have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data according to Art. 21 DSGVO - especially according to direct marketing measures.

Web- and Mailserver

Our web- and mailserver is provided by 1&1 Internet SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur. The files stored there are automatically encrypted and can only be viewed by people whom you have previously granted access to. CRM Support with Zendesk

We use the CRM System from the third party service Zendesk 1019 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94103 to react more quickly and efficient on diverse requests reaching us - so your Data may be processed in the US. (purposes of the legitimate interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit f DSGVO). Zendesk provides compliance with high security standards, such as encryption of data in motion over public networks, auditing standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27018), Distributed Denial of Service (“DDoS”) mitigations. Zendesk collects and stores personal data under Directive 95/46/EC. They ensure that their processing of personal data is compliant with relevant EU data protection law, including Directive 95/46/EC and the GDPR as of May 25, 2018. https://www.zendesk.com/company/customers-partners/eu-data-protection/#eu-directive Zendesk does not give away this data to third parties. For the proper usage of Zendesk, a valid email must be provided. As requests are being answered, it may be necessary to receive more personal data to solve the request.

Google Firebase Service / Google Play Services

We use Googles Firebase Service to host the service. The Data is processed on the Firebase servers and in any other places where the parties involved with the processing are located - so your Data may be processed in the US. As Firebase is a service by Google, the Privacy Policy of Google applies to our service. Google hosts their service on servers all around the world and your information may be processed on servers located outside of the country where you live. Data protection laws vary among countries, with some providing more protection than others. Regardless of where your information is processed, they apply the same protections described in this policy. Google Analytics (Google Inc.)

Due to our legitimate interests pursued according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO (optimization, analyzation) we integrated Google Analytics into our service. Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other of their services.

Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

Personal Data collected: Cookies and Usage Data.

You can opt-out of this service.

Register 

Users can register for an account. For the account we need a valid email and password which a processed on basis of Art. 6 para 1 lit b DSGVO. With registering and confirming the checkbox the user applies to the Privacy Police of this service according to this terms. The approval can be withdrawn every time. As the service can not be run without the basic information we collect, your data will after this be deleted from the server as long as it's not subject to a statutory retention period. It's in the measure of the user to save their data of transactions before you withdraw your approval.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. Within the app you can opt-out from this analytics anytime.

Retention time

The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and the User can always request that we suspend or remove the data.

Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your device internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and to improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16. In the case we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to its Users on this page. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom. If a User objects to any of the changes to the Policy, the User must cease using this Application and can request that we remove, modify  the Personal Data and their usage. Unless stated otherwise, the then-current privacy policy applies to all Personal Data we have about Users.
